Hi, I am from England UK where spotted dick is an old englishe traditional sponge pudding. The reason that you cannot open the tin from the bottom first is that Dick’s balls will fall out… and you wouldn’t want to lose those sackfulls of syrupy gloopy goodness would you! …of course it is not really a spotty dick inside …just a wart ridden weinerschnitzel. mmm

Your name intrigues me. I, for one, have always considered myself a bit of an idiot genius. For example, I absolutely hate ironing. Sticking forks in my eyes actually sounds like a better way to waste my time. I especially hate ironing shirts because I lack the mechanical skills to get into all the folds. The shirt always comes out looking like a deer during the early parts of spring after 3/4 of its body has shedded its winter coat and 1/4 of its body looks hideous. I usually just use a wet towel and the dryer to “iron” my shirts, but at least one female per day (I’m an elementary school teacher) points out that my shirt is “wrinkly” (wrinkly is the opposite of irony, if you didn’t know).

The above is the idiot in me…

Now the genius…

The ironing board is one of the only inventions that hasn’t taken on a major evolution. There have been advancements that have been made to the legs of the board so its easier to store, but never has the actual board been altered. So, my proposal….
AN IRONING BOARD IN THE SHAPE OF A SHIRT!
Think about it. It has arms, hinges to move the arms, and can rotate to iron the back side. Why has this not been invented yet? And why have I had this idea for years and never once acted upon it? See first paragraph if you need the answer.

In my future emails to your company, I will give more examples of idiot geniuses, just like you and I, who are much richer than you and I.
